The Silverado is a long-running name in the truck community. Reliability, innovation, and capability are just a few reasons it's been successful and making owners happy. Better power, improved gas mileage, increased capacities, and more define the model line for 2019. Eight trims make up the lineup, including Work Truck, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTE, and High Country.

The 2019 Chevy Silverado’s exterior is ready for virtually any setting

No matter what role your Silverado plays, its exterior is capable. The available Z71 Off-road Equipment Package expands its toughness (standard on Trail Boss models which also includes a factory-installed 2-inch lifted suspension and Rancho monotube shocks and Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac all-terrain tires).

The Z71 package upgrades the Silverado with Rancho shocks, electronic hill descent control, two-speed transfer case, automatic locking rear differential, heavy-duty air filter, 18” wheels with all-terrain tires, skid plates for the engine oil pan and transfer-case protection, and dual exhaust outlets for V8 equipped models. Whether you choose standard equipment or an add-on package, the Silverado offers exterior value.

You’ll find an engine for your purpose in the 2019 Chevy Silverado

Chevy provides several engine options for this model year. The LT includes a strong 2.7L Turbo four-cylinder engine that generates 310 horsepower and 348 lb-ft of torque. The premium High Country upgrades to a 5.3L V8 with 355 horsepower with a fuel consumption rating of 14.1/10.2 L/100 km (city/highway).

You also have the option of a 4.3L V6 with 305 horsepower that includes 3,629 kilograms of towing capacity, which is an increase of 181 kilograms from last year’s model (regular cab, rear-wheel-drive models). A 6.2L V8, equipped with the Max Towing Package, handles a maximum of 5,534 kilograms of towing, increased 227 kilograms from 2018.

Although the Silverado offers much value with its exterior and powertrain, the interior is just as exciting The available Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Front and Rear Park Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Forward Collision Alert and Following Distance Indicator, Low-Speed Forward Automatic Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, and more are just the start of a smart, innovative, and comfortable interior.
